Welcome to Christine's Secret Garden
Organic Teas

How does an organic estate earn the right to be referred to as organic?  For an estate to be considered organic, the gardens have not been treated with synthetic fertilizers or pesticides for a minimum of three years.  There are four key components in maintaining an organic garden:  1) Environmental protection of the land surrounding the gardens, including natural wildlife habitats; 2) Minimizing pollution and optimizing biological productivity; 3) Maintaining garden soil fertility and 4) Producing tea on machines that handle organic leaves exclusively.  The other consideration when purchasing an organic product is if all the ingredients are organic.  With the teas offered here, the answer is "Yes".  And remember, check out our "Gift with Purchase" page.
