From the estate of Koslande in Sri Lanka, in addition to being certified as an organic estate, it has also been a member of the Fair Trade Organization since 1996.  In 2004, additonal funds were invested in Koslande because of the estate's ability to maintain Fair Trade guidelines.  The working families on the estate received propane stoves, sewing machines, new roofs for living quarters and two daycare facilities were updated.  Now, about the tea - light liquoring with hints of delicate floral notes.  Excellent tea for afternoon tea parties.  The annual crop for this tea only yields about 4,000,000 cups and the tea is at its seasonal best for plucking in August of each year.
