To pay homage to the beautiful stone, this Kenyan tea is combined with cornflower petals to represent the deep blue of the Sapphire.  A perfect afternoon tea similar to a blend known by a similar name is served by one of the more popular luxury hotel/resort groups.  When drinking the tea, one experiences the lightly malted body with sweet touches of astringency with jammy notes of toast.  What adds to the superiority of this tea is the fact it was grown and produced under both certifications of the ETP (Ethical Tea Partnership) and Fair Trade.  The polyphenol antioxidant level is rated at 11.35%.
