Lively and full-flavored Earl Grey toned down with lemon peel, rose and cornflower petals to give this tea a "feminine" touch. Excellent choice to start a three-course Afternoon Tea paired with an orange-flavored scone. This tea has been blended to honor the Baroness of Grey who lost her husband, a ship's captain in the Royal Navy, to the sea sometime in the 16th or 17th century. The dried lemon peels represent the tears she cried over her loss. To the day she died, the Baroness never truly believed that her husband was lost at sea.
