Japan - Roasted green tea with a unique, full-bodied character and distinct cinnamon-like toast notes. This tea is produced using a 3rd flush bancha leaf. After the plucked leaves are steamed and dried, they are roasted over a low heat bringing a sweeter taste to the finished product. The roasting process also removes much of the caffeine. This tea is excellent paired with Asian-themed meals. Please note, this is not a caffeine-free tea.
